Content Coordinator - HGX, Melbourne

Halliday Wine Companion is the leading authority on Australian wine. Encompassing an engaged digital subscriber base, Australia’s bestselling wine magazine, an award-winning website, monthly Wine Club and regular events, Halliday ensures that our community never drinks a bad bottle of wine again.

Reporting to the Digital Content Manager, the Halliday Content Coordinator is responsible for executing a digital led content strategy that not only captivates our audience, but also drives organic traffic and revenue growth.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • The creation of high-quality written, visual, and video content
  • Conducting research to ensure content is optimised, accurate and relevant
  • Editing and proofreading content ensuring content adheres to our guidelines and brand
  • Managing Halliday's social media presence across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) to build brand awareness, community engagement, and lead generation
  • Experiment with new content formats, such as interactive videos, live streaming, and short-form video content and conduct A/B testing
  • Support the scripting, filming, and editing of video content for various platforms, including websites, social media, and eDM campaigns
  • Plan, schedule and publish content on websites, social media channels, and other digital platforms.

Our ideal candidate will be passionate about all things social. You’re driven to be a leader in this space with some experience in creating brilliant short form content for myriad platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn.

You will seize (with both hands!) the opportunity to work across the business to build your knowledge of all things Halliday and are keen to grow your expertise in building engaging video content and graphics and utilising your SEO and editing skills along the way. You may not have all the skills right now, but with a proactive, curious and creative approach, we can support the right person to develop their skills and thrive in this brand new role.
